The MOKU series are new products of ISUKE.
ISUKE was founded in the late Edo period, the company has produced the natural material of lacquerware such as purified lacquer and Japanese lacquerware for more than 180 years. Based on the experience and knowledge as a specialist in this market, MOKU was produced as contemporary tableware with the support of designer.

MOKU products are made by wood and those grains are natural and beautiful. They are light and thin by the excellent technique of wood craftsmen. Their forms are designed to be stacked and sometimes nested by a product designer, and are useful for saving space.

We start producing MOKU in 2013, and we are developing new items of MOKU in 2014.

We participate in two exhibitions in Paris in January 2014.
New lineup of MOKU will debut at the Maison & Object and "Kyoto Contemporary exhibition".
